Bradley’s excellent reputation as both a concert and church organist is well known. When it was time for our church to hire an organist/choirmaster, our committee knew we must contact Bradley for his input. Bradley was graciously accommodating with his time and had insights and advice that came from decades of service to the church. He shared an intuitive knowledge about the skill sets, personality traits and education we should look for in our search for the right candidates. Bradley shared a number of prescient observations about the polity that comes with weaving a successful music program into the life of a vibrant church. Bradley shared with us strategies and approaches to successfully integrate music staff into the administrative and ordained staff dynamic. Additionally, Bradley had a number of excellent suggestions about integrating service music, hymnody, anthems and motets into the church lectionary. Bradley is a wealth of experience and knowledge about all things church music. We are so grateful for his advice and input and we know his participation made our process better.

Our church is planning a robust capital campaign that will result in several significant changes to the sanctuary, including acoustic design. Dr. Welch was invited to work in consultation with the sanctuary design committee of the church to determine those modifications that would be the most effective. He provided remarkable insight that resulted in an excellent plan for improving the acoustic treatment of the sanctuary, at the same time preserving the architectural integrity of the building and the beauty of the sanctuary space. In addition, the church is considering modifications to the organ. Dr. Welch concisely prioritized improvements to the pipe organ in terms of cost and benefit in language that communicated clearly to the non-musicians on the committee while accomplishing the goals of the musicians. We could not be more grateful for the wonderful advice Dr. Welch provided our church.
